Candace Moore began working with TransGender Publishing in the fall of 2017, shortly after the company opened. She transcribed many hours of recorded interviews with trans elders and, eventually, took responsibility for training and supervising four other transcriptionists. She was instrumental in preparing for and providing a welcoming presence for TransGender Publishing at the Moving Trans History Forward conference at the University of Victoria in 2018. Recently, she has taken responsibility for the organization and analysis of transcribed materials in preparation for writing three life histories. She is not only Margot’s assistant, colleague, and enthusiastic supporter, she is also her daughter.
Anjoli Aisenbrey has a background in Psychiatric Nursing, as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on older adults, supporting the aging process, and end of life care. She is also trained in trauma care. Anjoli joined the TransGender Publishing team in the spring of 2020, volunteering her time to support the editorial process of life history writing by editing transcripts in preparation for publication. Anjoli provides both professional and spiritual advice on ongoing TGP projects. She is also Margot’s daughter.
Aurelia MacInnis is a self-described legal conveyancer, equine enthusiast, crazy chicken lady, mom, and wife extraordinaire. She is also co-owner of Iron Feather Farm. She joined Castle Carrington Publishing Group in the fall of 2020 providing editorial support in transcription and preparing transcripts for life story writing. Aurelia is also Margot’s daughter-in-law.
